I had the opportunity to shoot these two amazing people wedding day.
It was a surprise, they did not know that I was coming. The plan was that I would just shoot the ceremony but after it I managed to "steal" them for a moment and shoot some frames of them.
Their story is beautiful. They met as teenagers at a farm as they were working there. Then they went their separate ways and met again last year. Needles to say the love was there and today they are married :)
All shot on Pentax 67 with Fuji 400H and developed and scanned by the fantastic people at Canadianfilmlab.
Last winter I had the chance to photograph this couple as they were visiting Iceland to celebrate their wedding. We met at Skógafoss on the south cost early in the morning. It was a bit cold as expected in december but they came well prepared dressed in traditional winter clothing from China. Needles to say I think they were warmer than me. :) For few of the photos they dressed in the clothing they wore on their wedding day in China and did not let the cold bother them. After Skógafoss we drove to Seljalandsfoss and on the way there we stopped at a few interesting places where we were welcomed by the unique Icelandic horse. The light we got this day was exceptional that you don´t see every day.
All images were shot on Kodak Portra 800 and developed and scanned by the fantastic people at http://canadianfilmlab.com
